RULESET: Just Dance 2017

​

Article 1 – Game 

The Just Dance Tournament will be played on JUST DANCE 2017 - Xbox One + Kinect. 

​

Article 2 – Location

All matches will be played in GSP Conf - 979 Shangri-La, GSP Conf - 10 – Galilei or GSP Conf - 10 - Darwin but a change of location may happen. The grand final will take place at the BBQ 2017 - Zeitgeist – AA 2017.
Matches will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the 9th of May to the 20th of June during Lunch time (between 12h and 13h).

Article 3 – Format

1. The pool phase: one match played against each opponent in a Swiss mode tournament.

2. One song per Round for all players will be played.

3. A maximum of 6 Rounds will be made during the pool phase. 

4. Once the pool phase is finished the best 4 players in all previous Rounds will be selected to continue the tournament in double elimination.

5. The tournament will be double elimination with upper brackets and lower brackets.

6. The best scores will be used to seed the players into the tournament brackets (highest seed vs. lowest seed.

7. All matches will be scheduled at lunch time. We’ll send you meeting request.

8. Small final and Final will be a Best of 5

Article 4 – Rules

1. The winner is defined by the highest score of the match.

2. All players will play on the same tracklist (ref: Article 6).

3. The DLC maps are not included in the tracklist 

4. Failure to show up for a scheduled match (after 15 min) will result in a warning and a re-schedule on Thursday. An email should be sent 24 hours before to UGL-S4-JustDance-Admins UGL-S4-JustDance-Admins@ubisoft.com 

5. Failure to show up for a re-schedule match will result in an automatic loss.

Article 5 – Additional rules

1. This Just Dance tournament is all about FUN! 

2. Appropriate attire for dancing is recommended.

3. Stay hydrated! Bring a bottle of water.
