FAQ:
-
When can we play the matches?
-
The matches must be played during the week as it is scheduled.
-
It is suggested to play during the lunch hours, however you can also play outside of the work hours if it works for everyone.
-
-
How can we contact the other captains?
-
An email will be sent with other team captain’s email.
-
Otherwise, we invite you to check on the Toornament website and search for your opponent main contact’s email.
-
-
How long does a match last?
-
We have made a mistake in our first email, here’s some clarification.
-
The first team to get to 5 rounds won, wins the match.
-
If there’s a TIE (4-4), 3 OT rounds must be played to determine the winner
-
So it’s a total of 11 possible rounds per game, not 9! (sorry)
-
-
-
-
What the hell is a veto map ban?
-
A veto map ban is a system that we will use to ban maps out of the map list in the Playoff phase.
-
In this system, we have one higher seeded team and one lower seeded team. (see your team’s ranking).
-
In a BO3, the procedure is :
-
Upper seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Lower seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Upper seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Lower seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Upper seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Lower seeded team BAN 1 map
-
Upper seeded team PICK map #1
-
Lower seeded team PICK map #2
-
The remaining map, is the TIE breaker.
-
-
-
No software is needed, feel free to just type the map bans/picks in the chat.
-

-
When do we contact the other captains?
-
ASAP. As soon as you receive the mail confirming the matches of the week, you should try and contact the team captain to get a date to complete your match. The earlier the better as you have until the next Monday 1pm to complete the match.
-

-
How long should we wait for the other team to connect before asking for a forfeit?
-
If there is no contact between both team captains or a team is not all present at the pre-approved time, we ask that a reasonable amount of time be awarded, approximately 15 minutes before requesting a forfeit.
-
-
Who hosts the game?
-
The team captains decide between each other the host of the match.
-
-
I think someone is cheating, what do I do?
-
Send all grievances to UGL-S7-RainbowSix-Admins@ubisoft.com. If you are able to obtain evidence of cheating, you can send it as well. Please remember this is a “for fun” tournament.
